The story of ARANA
It starts with appreciating the simple, tasteful things and the state of harmony around us, being also the main rules that guide us in life. ARANA, was born from the desire to share a healthy lifestyle, which for us was already a daily habit.
The story begins with an itinerary in surprising New Delhi, India, where we discovered an ancient story and a medical practice that gave us the impetus to make the story of Ayurveda known and to bring the beauty of handmade items to Romania. We were immediately enchanted by the magic with which the copper vessels are made, by the power of the hands that make everything come true, but also by the benefits on the water and the consumers. In this context, I discovered an ancient story, a traditional medical practice. But we do not stop here and continue with the protection of the environment, because by replacing the harmful plastic containers with the copper ones we help a little, but certainly, to protect nature, while choosing a healthy hydration.
Copper is essential for the everyday life, and it has been proven and practiced for over 5,000 years through the alternative Ayurveda medicine, which originated in ancient India. Ayurvedic treatment aims to restore the balance of the mind-body system and recommends the use of copper for storaging water. The water stored this way is called "Tamra Jal", and over time this practice has been used in Rome, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, Germany. Most recently, in the twentieth century, a doctor noticed that copper mine workers did not have arthritis, and continued to support a diet that included copper. Copper is considered an essential mineral for our body, and it can now be much more accessible to us.
We fight against plastic containers! Bisphenol A is used to make these containers, which have harmful effects on sex hormones, especially on womens. Reuseness of plastic containers increases the exposure to potentially harmful bacteria that form in humid environment. Plastic is one of the biggest pests of the environment, because it does not decompose or biodegrade. A plastic bottle is used for an average of 15 minutes but can last a millennium.
